Ok, so first of all let me update you guys what has been going on with me for the past 9 months.

Well, i did 2 surgery due to my previous car accident, one on the neck and one on the lower back.
I've also been happily travelling - Over the past 9 months, i've been to Bangkok twice, Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt Fuji, Korea (explored Seoul and gangwon-do province) and Hokkaido as well. 😄

So as you guys know i'm not a rookie when it comes to skin aesthetics treatment, infact i've done and blog about a few before this post.

What is ELLANSE??  What is 少女针??

Ellanse is a unique filler, working differently from the traditional fillers. It not only fills the defect immediately, but also stimulates the body to produce new collagen. It is injected into the skin to lift, sculpt and restore lost volume associated with skin aging. 

Its principle component is Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) microspheres – a bio-resorbable soft medical polymer. The PCL is suspended in a gel carrier made of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC).

Ellanse is made up of 30% Polycaprolactone (PCL) smooth, spherical, 25-50um microspheres homoegenously suspended in 70% Carboxymethycellulose (CMC) gel. 

PCL is a well-known bioresorbable medical polymer and used in many CE and US FDA approved medical devices for over 20 years, thus its track record is sturdy.

Ellanse works by:

1. An immediate filling and lifting effect
2. Collagen production by your skin in the next 3-6 months to replace the dissolving CMC gel
3. Ellanse microspheres degraded and absorbed by your skin over the indicated duration (S - 1 year, M - 2 years, L - 3 years, E- 4 years) as seen below.
4. There are 4 versions of Ellanse, as seen below, with the filler longevity ranging from 1-4 years

And why is it called 少女针? Which direct translate to Injection of Youth?

少女针is a name that the Taiwanese have coined to denote Ellanse filler treatments. Multiple before after pictures of happy patients treated with Ellanse emerged in the Taiwanese media in the past few years, and showed that Ellanse is able to reverse the signs of aging on their faces, making them appear 5-10 years younger than their real age, hence the term, "少女针".

The term is also popularised and has spread like wildfire to countries in Asia, including Hongkong and China.

Anyway what you will simply achieve is a YOUNGER , BEAUTIFUL FACE.

I did Ellanse for both my cheeks and chin.

To achieve a fuller cheeks and a more V shape faced!

This is how i look, my immediate results after both injection.

The cheek volume is immediately enhanced and lifted.

The chin in obviously more V shape as well.

And below is me after about 1 month plus, to top up a little for the ellanse.

So it's ok to let the ellanse settle down for awhile before deciding if you need more top up etc.

Hi guys as promised in the previous post, i'm gonna introduce another treatment that i've done like twice with Dr Wong.

It's the Dysport Insta Lift!!!

What is the Dysport Insta-Lift?

The Dysport Dermolift was originally invented by Dr Lee Young Seob of Seoul, South Korea. 

It involves injecting diluted Dysport into the intra-dermal layer, which stimulates and re-organizes the cellular cytoskeleton of the skin cells, to bind to more elastin and collagen. It also stimulates the fibroblast cells in the skin to produce more collagen. 

The end result ? An instant tightening and face-lifting effect, which gets better in the next 7 days.

The Knightbridge Clinic has adapted this special technique into the Dysport Insta-Lift!

How did the Dysport Insta-Lift come about?

This special method of using Dysport came about when Dr Lee Young Seob was trying to avoid causing the stiff, expression-less faces that were common with traditional intra-muscular Botox injections ( his clientele involved a lot of Korea / Hongkong / China celebrities who needed to look good and yet still be able to make facial expressions for work), and started experimenting with diluted Dysport injected into the skin cells instead of the traditional method into the muscles.

And for those who don't know what is dysport???

But.......... For me the injection really isn't painful! Like a 1 out 10 pain?

Hence... I told Dr wong no numbing cream is needed for me.. =)

I'm not joking, i never apply any numbing and i just injected right away.
